Founded in 2022 in Dunedin, Otago, Southern Sculpture is the creative endeavor of Brad Jackson, a skilled metal sculptor inspired by the landscapes and wildlife of New Zealand. Brad's work captures the beauty and energy of nature, blending realism with his unique vision to create timeless metal sculptures. Each piece is handcrafted from alloy, stainless, or mild steel, using Brad's expertise in MIG and TIG welding along with his refined metal-shaping skills.
At Southern Sculpture, Brad aims to make art with a difference, designing one-of-a-kind pieces that commemorate meaningful moments in his clients' lives. He welcomes commissions and works closely with clients to create personal, lasting works of art. With a background as a qualified sheet metal and light fabrication engineer, Brad brings a high level of craftsmanship to each sculpture, seamlessly merging traditional techniques with innovative design.

Brad’s journey into metal art began with his passion for landscape painting, which evolved over the last 18 years through exhibitions, awards, and custom commissions. His transition from paint to metal was a natural progression, where he now explores new ideas and techniques while integrating recycled and new materials to give his pieces added depth and character.
