Brad is a qualified sheet metal/light fabrication engineer. He creates his pieces from either alloy, stainless or mild steel, using his skills in MIG and TIG welding, as well as metal shaping to bring his ideas to life. Brad aims to capture action and realism in his sculptures. New Zealand inspired metal sculpture with a difference.

Brad has always been creative. Landscape oil painting started out as just a hobby for him, but then developed into much more. Over the last 18 years or so, Brad has exhibited his artworks in a variety of places. He has been successful in several Art competitions and has also had the opportunity to create special commissions for clients.

With a background in Engineering, it was a natural progression for Brad to move into creating metal art. He has enjoyed this new challenge and exploring new ideas and the possibilities of what can be created. When sourcing materials, Brad likes to mix the old with the new, using both new materials and discarded scrap materials that most people see as no longer having any use.

Whether creating in paint or metal, Brad has always been inspired by the New Zealand landscape and wildlife.
